Charleston Salutes!
All greater Charleston area Law Enforcement and Emergency Responders and their families are invited out to a great day of food and fun as our way of saying "Thanks for all you do!"
Activities will include water park, bungee trampoline, mechanical bull, climbing wall, horseback riding, hay ride, water slide, basketball, kiddie playground and spray ground, a photo booth, and MORE! Concessions will be available all afternoon followed by a great fried chicken / BBQ dinner. We'll top the evening off with a fantastic display of fireworks.
Charleston Salutes! is an annual event started on the 10th Anniversary of 9/11 and is a way for the community to thank emergency workers. The event is hosted by the Bostic Family at their farm known as "Peaceful Way" (peacefulway.org or look us up on facebook.com) and has been sponsored by the Bostic Law Firm (www.BosticLaw.com) and dozens of other local area businesses.
There is NO COST to attend this event. However, we do ask that you register in advance and space is limited, so don't wait until the last minute. If you have friends who are detention workers, EMS, Dispatch, Police, Highway Patrol, Firefighters, Volunteer Rescue, Sherriff's Department, Crisis Chaplaincy, FBI, etc--feel free to pass the word along. (After September 1, any remaining tickets will be available to the community.)
