Understanding who you are and what you mean to others as an Asian American and Pacific Islander (AAPI) can help students and young professionals build the strategies for future success. This session will help participants learn how to amplify their personal brand, strengthen communication skills and appreciate persistence.

11:00 a.m.              Future-Now: Anticipating Trends to Accelerate Your Future Career

During this session a panel of experts from a broad range of backgrounds will share their insights on the importance of career trends and how to anticipate them. Students will learn how to incorporate this skill into their college and career planning. In addition, the panel with share best practices gained through their experience in their respective fields.

This session will provide participants with the five most important success factors that every AAPI should know to succeed in school, at work and in life. The discussion will provide an overview on Emotional Intelligence (EQ) and Cultural Intelligence (CQ) and how students can leverage these skills in negotiation, motivation and to build professional networks.
