                      CAO CIGARS

CAO is one of the most sought after brands of cigars, period. Equipped with an impressive portfolio of 90+ rated cigars, CAO cigars are often the topic of discussion. Always innovative, and never satisfied, CAO cigars strive to be different. However, a fun fact you might not have know is that CAO's roots were first established in the pipe industry. By winning over countless people with their tasty tobacco blends, CAO eventually evolved into a legitimate contender in the cigar industry. Now, each CAO pipe tobacco and cigar tells a different story, bringing welcomed intrigue to the table. 

 

CAO Cigars got its start in 1968 by Cano A. Ozgener, the founder whose initials form the company's name. Artistically, CAO creates some of the most eye-catching designs in terms of their bands and packaging. The exquisite packaging that carries many of the company's cigars reflects on Ozgener's previous experience with building humidors. The brand is not all style with substance, though, as CAO cigars are known to their wide range of flavors and solid construction. Mr. Ozgener's preseverance have definitely paid off, as several of his company's cigars have receive high ratings from widely renowned publications, which will definitely help to fuel further growth of the brand and the future. 

                                           RIVERSTAR VINEYARDS

 The Dutton family started growing grapes in San Miguel in 1986 when we purchased a 26 acre Cabernet Sauvignon Vineyard that was in need of a little "TLC". With the help of some great neighbors, the next year, we harvested our first crop of Cabernet grapes. In 1993 RiverStar Vineyards was planted with three varietals: Cabernet Sauvignon, Syrah and Merlot, all planted on its own root in the loamy sand and gravel soils along the southern facing slopes of the Estrella River. These are ideal conditions for producing grapes with deep, rich color and robust ripeness.

In 1997 we purchased a 15-year-old vineyard, Dutton Vineyards, that produces some of the best Sauvignon Blanc and Cabernet Sauvignon in the area.

We are dedicated and committed to providing top wineries throughout California that purchase our grapes with superlative fruit. RiverStar Vineyards realizes that it takes great fruit to make great wine.Beginning in the late 1990's, it was decided to transform our facility and begin producing wines in addition to growing our top-quality vineyards. The 2001 Syrah was our debut red, and still continues to be a favorite. Additional production of Merlot, Sauvignon Blanc and Cabernet Sauvignon varietals completed the portfolio of initial offerings for the RiverStar family of wines.
