Join us for the Chapter's annual Santa Ynez Wine Tour. There are a few changes this year but you can expect to have as good a time as you've always had.
If you've never been on a BMW CCA Los Angeles Chapter Wine Tour, here's what you get: (f you have been on a recent LA Chapter Wine Tour, you can skip the next section because you already know what a great deal this is.)
There are many great wineries in the Santa Ynez Valley and Santa Rita Valleys and there isn't time in one weekend to visit them all. We've tried to pick a variety that will give you a taste of what the valleys have to offer. The wineries we'll be visiting include Firestone, Zaca Mesa, Fess Parker, Black Jack, Foley and Koehler. If you have a favorite winery that's not on this year's list, you should be able to fit it in.
As in past years, you can opt for Friday/Saturday lodging, or you can join us late Saturday morning and just stay in Lompoc on Saturday night. We have also added the option for you to just join us at the wineries and for meals but not stay at the hotel. If you live in the Central Coastal area you can opt to sleep in your own bed but not miss out on the rest of the fun. Prices are designed for 2 people per room, but there is an option to attend without a roommate.
Prices range from $440 (2 people, 2 nights, all meals) to $95 (one person, no lodging, all meals).
Reservations must be made by mid-September as the hotel wants a head count as early as possible.
Mendenhall Museum is a private collection located in Buellton. The museum has one of the west coast's largest petroliana collections including gasoline pumps, globes, and porcelain gas, oil, & road signs. There are also race cars, racing memorabilia, license plates, gas & oil items, and other miscellaneous antiques.
