TWELVE: The New Rules for United Way Success is a full-day workshop, in which United Way staff, board members, and key volunteers will learn how to increase financial support and volunteerism, strengthen community investment, and communicate more effectively with donors and community members. During this workshop, we will summarize the results of over 70 market research studies and strategic planning work with dozens of United Ways nationwide.
This workshop addresses many of the current issues, challenges, and opportunities facing United Ways, and provides attendees with ideas, examples, and recommendations about how to address these issues, conquer the challenges, and take advantage of the opportunities.
At Perspectives Consulting Group, Inc., our primary focus is to provide training, research, and planning services to empower the mission and focus the vision of United Ways. We have worked with United Ways for over 25 years and have seen the benefits of our research on United Ways. We developed TWELVE: The New Rules for United Way Success to share the results of our research and important rules to follow, in order to help all United Ways grow and achieve further success.
We limit the number of participants to a maximum of 40 people, as we like to keep the setting intimate in order to have discussions and talk about individuals' campaigns, allocations processes, and marketing materials.
United Way of Central Virginia will be hosting TWELVE: The New Rules for United Way Success at their office in Lynchburg, Virginia on Thursday, September 19, 2013 from 9:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. The cost to attend this full-day workshop is $180 per person, which includes lunch, refreshments, and printed handouts.
