Professional Development Workshop - Fall 2013
NEW MECHANICSVILLE LOCATION!
WHEN: Wednesdays, September 25 through November 6, from 6-8 PM
WHAT: 7-week, Christ-centered workshop for job seekers. Participants use a 6-step process and “Explorer Guide” – tools to find calling and purpose, prepare resumes, prep for interviews, network and more!
WHERE: Shalom Baptist Church

ABOUT THE FACILITATORS:
Doug and Dawn Hansen were joined together in holy matrimony in 1995. Together, Doug and Dawn actively serve the Lord ministering to children and youth. and are blessed to be part of the ministry Needles Eye has to offer the Richmond area business community.
Dawn is a vice president at Bank of America with over thirty years of service. Throughout her career, Dawn has held various positions in operations, technology and customer service. She has spent the last fifteen working as a project manager. Dawn is a member of Women in Technology & Operations and Rich Tech organizations to attract, develop and retain female talent in technology. Dawn loves serving the Lord as Jr. High Sunday School teacher, gardening and the beach.
Doug's career path has been advertising design; working for such companies as Balmar Graphics, and Reynolds Metals. As a staff designer for Reynolds, Doug occasionally took on freelance design projects and soon followed his dream to become self employed in freelance graphic design. It was while partnering with Dawn in volunteer youth ministry, Doug was approached to take on the position of youth minister vocationally. After completing that assignment, he has returned to freelance art, and enjoys serving the Lord at Shalom, going to the gym with Dawn, and NASCAR.
