This 4-Part Series will give you the tools you need to begin using “Engagement Marketing”, a combination of E-mail Marketing and Social Media Marketing. Through 2 seminars and 2 workshops, you’ll create a simple plan to get you going.

Part 1: The Power of E-mail Marketing--August 12, 2013

Why your e-mail doesn’t get read!

This program is generic.  It doesn’t matter what e-mail program you use.  Best practices apply everywhere.  In the for-profit and in the non-profit world, much is at stake in this economy.  Come and learn how you can be productive, trusted, and grow your business.

We will explore the process of e-mail marketing by addressing all of the “how’s and why’s”.  Ensuring delivery and the reading of your e-mail is critical to your marketing efforts, but it’s not just a matter of sending our E-blasts.  There are certain key elements to successful e-mail marketing that you must follow.  Timing, Subject Lines, Content, & “Calls to Action”.  Learn what they are in this seminar, and begin putting this powerful, cost-effective, high return-on-investment tool to work in your business or organization.

Part 2: Social Media Made Simple--August 13, 2013

Put Social Media to Work for Your Business

Get a free tool that should cut your social media time down to no more than 90 minutes a week.  Is Social Media a good tool for me?  I run a non-profit?  We can show you how to make your non-profit grow while you attend to the urgencies of the moment.  Are you saying to yourself, “All I need is the manual for “How to do” Social Media and I’ll be good to go”?  We have that, and you will get it for free.

This program will be a great use of your time and you will walk away with at least two free tools guaranteed to make your life simpler and easier.

Social media has transformed the landscape of communication.  This is true for both social contact and business contact.  Huge corporations use social media as part of their media mix, but you have something way more powerful than huge corporations.  Find out what it is in this seminar.

We’ll explore proper usage of social media such as Facebook, LinkedIn, Pinterest, Twitter, and Instagram—to name a few.  How can you get your message out to your audience?  How can you get them to “share” and “like” you?  Is there a strategy to using social media?  Did you know there is something you can do that will make your social media work 100% better for you?  Follow this one simple tip you’ll learn and you’ll see results!

This 2 ˝  hour seminar will teach you the framework for positioning your company or organization in social media so you can start generating “the buzz” about what you do.

Part 3: Workshop:  Grow Your Business with E-mail and Social Media Marketing--August 19, 2013

Put it all together with a Plan!

This workshop is an interactive seminar where key concepts of e-mail and social media marketing are discussed and developed.  Accompanied by a short workbook, you will be guided through a process of creating a digital marketing strategy that is unique to your business or organization.

The workshop will define and discuss the following topics and require you to brainstorm about how you can best apply them:  Engagement Marketing – Marketing Objectives – Marketing Goals – Marketing Campaign – Channels that Matter – Measurable Results

By documenting your understanding of these topics, in a way that creates a plan, you will leave with a greater understanding of how to optimize your e-mail and social media marketing from a standpoint of where to find and how to cultivate the best relationships.

There are various opinions about who said it, but the truth remains:  If you fail to plan, you plan to fail.  Trying to market your business without a plan is like trying to swim in a pond full of alligators.  You never know what’s going to bite you.

In this 2 ˝ hour workshop we review the highlights of the previous two seminars, talk about how to have a marketing strategy, and then discuss how to develop a simple marketing plan for your first campaign.  Once you step through the process, you’ll follow the same steps every time you put your marketing together.

This workshop includes a simple, 4-page workbook that will form the basis for your strategic plan and your marketing plan.  We’ll even supply you with the workbook, in an electronic file you can add to your desktop, so you can keep using it in the future for your campaign planning.

Part 4: Workshop:  Get Your Hands on It!--August 20, 2013

Optimizing your Company Facebook Page & Putting Together your E-mail Newsletter

How do you utilize templates?  How can you add graphics and images to your e-mail, Hyperlinks to your website, Video?

How is a Facebook business page set up?  What tools can I use to increase “Likes” as well as obtain sign-ups for my e-mail list?

Creating attention-getting e-mail that has an impact along with an engaging Social Media presence is key to growing the “buzz” around your business or organization.

This is a 2 ˝ hour true hands on training seminar!  We’ll step through the basics of utilizing an e-mail template:  How to set up all the preferences, how to add text and graphics, and how to send it out.

With Facebook, it’s important to know how to set up your company page so you can begin collecting data from it.  Why do some posts receive more attention than others?  How can you add a “Join My E-mail List” button to your page?  How can you use Constant Contact’s Social Media function to get more contacts for your e-mail list?

A prerequisite for this final workshop is a Constant Contact account, and a Facebook account.   Attendees who do not have a Constant Contact Account can register for a Free 60-day trial account.

No credit card is necessary.  Click here to obtain your free account.

There is no obligation or long-term commitment required to use the 60-day trial account.
