We are pleased to have Royals Hall of Famer Frank White as speaker. He's a hometown hero who played for the Royals for 18 years in which he was a five-time All Star and won the Golden Glove Award eight times. He still resides in Kansas City and is on the coaching staff of the Kansas City T-Bones. He is the author of the book: "One Man's Dream, My Team, My Town, My Time".
Nashville based BMG recording artist Danny Gokey will be performing. Danny became a fan favorite as third place finalist on season 8 of American Idol. Danny is also the founder of Sophia's Heart, a foundation that offers help and hope to the homeless. Danny's new book, "Hope in Front of Me" goes on sale October 1st and he is currently writing songs for a new album release.
