MS/HS Math Network Meeting Tues. Sept. 10th, 2013

Target Audience: This cadre will build from the previous math leadership network, but is open to any middle or high school math teacher who would like to participate.

Description: The CKEC Middle/High School Math Cadre will meet four times throughout the 2013-2014 school year.  Participants are asked to attend all four sessions as sharing & networking with teachers from other districts is an important part of the cadre learning experience. This cadre will build from the previous math leadership network, but is open to any middle or high school math teacher who would like to participate.  Our focus for the meetings will be to learn and share instructional strategies for teaching middle/high school mathematics content using 21st century technology skills, differentiation and interventions. 

Requirements:

--Attend all four cadre meeting dates: Sept. 10th, Nov. 19th, Jan. 14th, and Mar. 5th

--Try new strategies/lessons in your classroom in between meetings and be ready to share experiences in cadre meetings

--Share information with your colleagues and/or math department at your school

At CKSEC, we love kids and families! Unfortunately, due to liability issues and professional decorum, children and other family members or friends are not permitted to attend our trainings.

Please dress in layers as it can be difficult to adjust the temperature.

CKEC accepts purchase orders, checks, or money orders for payment. CKEC, for auditing purposes, can not accept cash. 

Attendance Policy: If you register to attend a session, but find you are unable to attend, please cancel your registration as early as possible. Space is limited and by canceling you will allow others to benefit from these highly qualified professional development opportunities. A fee could be assessed for no shows.

Districts will be notified of those who registered and did not attend or did not cancel prior to be session.
