Taquonck's Treasures 5K and Caleb's Challenge for Children
Event: Taquonck's Treasures Run/Walk/Wheel 5K and Caleb's Challenge for Children
RACE INFO: 5K Run/Walk/Wheel will consist of a hadicapped accesible course that is family friendly. Caleb's Challenge for Children will consist of a 1/4 mile loop for children 5-11 with opportunities for children to find treasures along the way! We will also have a 50 meter run for children 2-4 with prizes. Registration is free for children and registration includes entry fee to the Charlestown Harvest Festival beginning at 11am with opportunities for free family fun activities, food and music.
PURPOSE: Proceeds from the 5K will go directly to Ninigret Park in Charlestown to improve handicapped accessibilty in the park including contributions to the community garden. Caleb's Challenge for Children will bring ALL children together to participate in an event that ensures children will run and wheel along side their peers, friends and siblings.
