What's new? By popular demand this event will feature booths by various companies that offer products and services to the industry. We've expanded this to include a special "Welcome Reception" the evening prior to the conference to give attendees an opportunity to network in a relaxed atmosphere.
Who's on the agenda? Our keynote speaker is Caltrans Director Malcolm Dougherty (pictured at left), who will discuss various topics of interst to the asphalt pavement community and local agencies, including new initiatives, funding and policy matters. Also on the agenda is Mike Acott, president of the National Asphalt Pavement Association. He'll give a national perspective on industry trends, research, regulations and market share. Other agenda items will cover topics such as asphalt mixes, pavement interlayers, long-life (perpetual) asphalt and more. Check back for a detailed agenda of speakers and topics.
How much does it cost? CalAPA conferences reman one of the great bargains in the industry. CalAPA members and public agency representatives who register by Oct. 10 pay just $109, and non-members are just $129.
