One of the world’s most influential thought leaders and greatest voices in marketing today, SETH GODIN, will present a Town Hall Meeting with Seth Godin - Thriving in a Post Sandy Business World on September 25,2013 at 2 p.m. at Brookdale Community College, presented by The New Jersey Small Business Development Center at Brookdale Community College, advisors to the Monmouth and Ocean County business communities.
Godin is the author of 17 books that have been bestsellers around the world and have been translated into more than 35 languages. You might be familiar with his books Linchpin, Tribes, The Dip and Purple Cow. In addition to his writing and speaking, Seth is founder of squidoo.com, a fast growing, easy to use website. His blog (which you can find by typing "seth" into Google) is one of the most popular in the world.
Seth Godin, named the “ultimate entrepreneur for the Information Age” in Business Week, will be speaking to fellow entrepreneurs from the Jersey Shore whose businesses have been impacted by Superstorm Sandy. Monmouth and Ocean County experienced significant devastating from the hurricane. Two of the main images that are emotionally seared in many people’s minds when thinking about Sandy’s destruction are the submerged roller coaster from Seaside Heights (Ocean County) and the half standing home in Union Beach (Monmouth County). Godin will speak about marketing in a post-Sandy business world not only in terms of recovery but thriving and excelling by looking at their business with fresh eyes and a new approach to connecting with both their existing customers and potential customer base.
