19th Annual ITS Forum

ITS Wisconsin, the Wisconsin Section of the Intelligent Transportation Society of America (ITSA), in conjunction with the Great Lakes Transportation Enterprise Institute, is co-sponsoring the 19th Annual Intelligent Transportation Systems Forum.

The event will be held on Thursday, October 31, 2013, at the Marquette University Alumni Memorial Union in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.  This year’s theme is focused on being connected with ITS. The program highlights ITS projects in Wisconsin and other higher-level initiatives, including funding and contracting changes, commercial trucking needs, and advances in traveler information tools.

The Forum attracts upwards of 150 participants each year from local municipalities, state government, consulting firms, equipment manufacturers and distributors, and university staff and students.  Over the past 19 years, vendors from around the country have provided information and demonstrations on state-of-the-art ITS products, programs, and services.  Event sponsorships provide critical financial support for the organization and ensure the continued success of the ITS Forum.  All exhibitors and sponsors will be recognized in the event program, on event posters, and on the ITS Wisconsin website (http://www.itswisconsin.org/).

On Wednesday, October 30th, there will be an evening social where attendees can network following the day long Great Lakes Transportation Enterprise Institute (GLTEI) Industry Showcase Event. For more information on the GLTEI Industry Showcase Event, contact Todd Szymkowski at (608) 263-2684 or via email at szymkowski@engr.wisc.edu.

If you are interested in exhibiting and/or sponsoring this year’s ITS Forum, please indicate this on the registration form prior to October 23rd. If you have any questions regarding exhibiting or sponsorship, please contact Amy Worzella at (414) 507-2175-6814 or via email at amyw@tapconet.com.

Parking is available at the 16th Street Parking Structure, located at 749 N. 16th St across from the Union. Full day is $5, cash and credit cards are accepted at the gate.
