Nicole MacAdam is the Features editor for The Globe and Mail's Report on Business. She oversees coverage of the Media, Marketing, Telecom,Technology and Retail sectors, in addition to editing features such as the section's signature "The Lunch" series. Nicole joined The Globe in 2004, after stints as an editor and graphic designer at the Seattle Times, the largest print media organization in Seattle, Wash., The Toronto Star and the Canadian Press. Born in Toronto, she holds a Bachelor of Applied Arts (Journalism) from Ryerson University and a Bachelor of Arts (History) from the University of Western Ontario. She is married, with a young son, and lives in Mississauga, Ont.
Katherine Low is the editor of Ontario Travel magazine. Her passion for travelling has taken her around the world, from bungee jumping in Auckland to riding Tuk Tuks in Thailand, but she feels most at home paddling in Ontario. Her writing has appeared in The Globe and Mail, Cottage Life, the Canadian Press, the Huffington Post, AOL.ca, MSN.ca, Viva, Sweetspot.ca, Canadian Running, Women of Influence, The London Free Press and more. In addition to roles in journalism and communications, Katherine has also lectured and instructed at universities and colleges internationally. She holds a BA(H) in English from Queen’s University and an MA in Journalism from UWO and is the recipient of PWAC, IABC and Canada Newswire awards. Diane Peters is a Toronto based freelance writer, editor and teacher. She is managing editor of lifestyle-driven trade magazine Precedent and teaches feature writing at Ryerson University.
