About the Virginia Oral Health Summit...
The 2013 Oral Health Summit will focus on the future of oral health delivery in Virginia. Keynote speaker Dr. Marcia Brand, Deputy Administrator of the Health Resources and Services Administration, will discuss how collaborative efforts have brought positive change to health care and highilght HRSA's work identifying oral health competenciesnon dental professionals need to provide comprehensive care to their patients . In addition, Dr. Marko Vujicic of the American Dental Association will speak about the current and future state of dentistry in Virginia.  Other innovative approaches to oral health care will be discussed in interactive sessions.  CERP credit available for dental professionals; continuing education (CE) credit applications for physicians, PAs and nurses pending approval.  Register today to reserve your spot!

New in 2013, the Coalition is offering a plenary breakfast session the morning of November 8 geared toward human resources professionals and business leaders. The session, sponsored by Cigna, will feature a panel discussion on the improved health outcomes and cost savings associated with employee utilization of dental benefits.  Virginia's Secretary of Health and Human Resources, Dr. William Hazel, will offer the welcome address.  CE credit application for human resources professionals is pending approval.
