Advanced Disordered Gambling Training - Columbus
Presenter: Dr. Rory Reid, Ph.D., LCSW
In this workshop we will explore the evidence and research that supports the need to integrate the topics of gambling and problem gambling into mental health and substance abuse treatment. We will practice techniques to integrate gambling issues into psychosocial assessments and to use motivational strategies in helping clients define the role of gambling in their recovery.
Prerequisite: Stage I and Stage II or 24 hours of previous gambling counseling training required.
This training will provide 12 CEU's for social workers, counselors, and gambling counselors as well as 12 RCH's for chemical dependency and prevention professionals.
