Topic: Protecting the Best Interests of Women & Children in Jewish Divorce

This seminar will examine such topics as: Halakhic (Jewish legal) perspectives on divorce, the necessity of the Get (Jewish divorce), the Agunah Problem, legal &extra-legal ways to procure a Get, the Rabbinical Council of America’s Pre-Nuptial Agreement, and pending Illinois legislation and how they relate to the Get-Agunahissue.

We will view the documentary  "Women Unchained," narrated by Mayim Bialik
