Panel 1.  Monetizing multicultural markets through the uses of online marketing.

In May 2011 Google did a study on African Americans uses of video online. It was found that over 50 percent uses video sites to find out information about brands. In that same month Pew research center found that both Latino and African Americans where more likely to visit a video sharing site than whites.

So how can brands and advertisers take advantage these growing trends?

Ms. Sikov currently is part of the Enterprise Sales team at TubeMogul, a real-time media buying technology for digital video. At TubeMogul, Danielle works with marketers to facilitate multi-screen digital video campaigns.  Previously Danielle served as Director of Business Development at Vistar Media, a digital place-based advertising platform and as an Account Executive on the Publisher Development team at Quantcast, a digital advertising company specializing in audience measurement and real-time advertising.  Ms. Sikov received her B.A. in Anthropology & Media Studies from Tufts University, awarded Summa Cum Laude.

Dennis Sanchez: CEO for Marcar Visions Marketing.

What started as a hobby assisting fellow Latino Professionals grow their businesses, through Mr. Sanchez' extensive social media network, led to the vision of a bi-cultural Latino marketing empire.  Dennis quickly realized that the Americans that happened to be Latinos were searching for a means to connect with each other and for a marketing firm that understands NOSOTROS!

 

Roger Wu: co-founder Coopereratize  

  Cooperatize.com is a content distribution platform and social audience generator. Prior he founded Klickable.tv, an interactive video platform. He was also on the founding team of Bloomberg Law. He won a Webby Award Honorable Mention.  In addition, Roger organizes the Pinterest Meetup and the Stamford Tech Meetup.  He received three degrees from the University of Pennsylvania.

In Oct 2013 Sheryl Sandbreg COO of Facebook did a interview on the Charlie Rose. She was quoted saying that over 5 billion people will own a cell phone, but what about tablets? We all  know that more  and more people are watching content online. Most brands and business know that fewer people are watching content on desktops and more are watching on their phones, or tablets.

Additional responsibilities includes strategic consulting, key project management for client digital strategy and execution. Ruben is also a Adjunct professor @ NYU teaching “Facebook Marketing“, and “Examining Social Media Networks for Brand Value”, courses in the Digital Media Marketing Certificate Program. A seasoned online marketing professional, prior to joining Path Interactive, Ruben’s related experience includes founding and marketing a one of the Internet’s first vertical search directories, directed at property managers, and was an advertising internet consultant for Verizon Information Services for national and regional brands.
