Admission includes a dance workshop which will be taught by Mr. Casslar from 1:30-3:30PM at Keeney Memorial Hall. The workshop is a great opportunity for dancers of all skill levels to learn from a teacher with decades of experience teaching vintage dance to dancers all around the country. We hope to see you there!
As in previous years, admission to the ball also includes an invitation to a tea dance hosted by Mr. Casslar on Sunday from 1:00-4:00PM. Printed directions to the tea dance will be available at the ball on Saturday evening.
The time period for the Holiday Ball is loosely defined as "Victorian," or roiughly the mid-1800s to the early 1900s. Ball gowns or day dresses for ladies, and tailcoats or military uniforms for gentlemen are very appropriate. If you do not have period attire, that's okay, too! Modern formal wear, such as modest evening dresses (no mini skirts, please) for ladies and dark suits and ties for gentleman, is quite welcome.
