PackageProviding physical, mental and emotional support after surgery with our post-operative recovery shirts & other inspirational gifts

Cherie

Welcome to healincomfort4achange.org, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit. We provide specialty surgery packages that include a post-operative Heal in Comfort Shirt®, educational materials & inspirational gifts. These packages are helpful for patients who have had upper-body surgeries such as breast cancer mastectomies, heart and organ transplants, as well as hospice patients.

These “buttery soft” recovery shirts are the result of Ms. Cherie Mathews personal need for this product based upon her own painful and unacceptable post-operative experience of not being provided with the proper equipment upon discharge. OUR personal mission is to ensure every man & woman is sent home with a "buttery soft” recovery shirt and other inspiring gifts after surgery so they may heal in comfort and dignity while battling breast cancer or other medical issues. We look forward to making the Heal in Comfort Shirts the industry standard for Breast Cancer Resource Centers and other upper-body medical needs around the globe.

Since 2009, we have been blessed to gift over 800 shirts thanks to past generous contributions. Please help us to continue to share our recovery shirts and other uplifting & inspiring gifts with the world those who need it. You can read more about Cherie Mathews personal story and inspirational journey at www.healincomfort.com.

We take special pride in being a socially responsible and conscious company. We are blessed beyond words and are very fortunate to have the support of such a wonderful Austin area community. Do your part in helping YOUR LOCAL COMMUNITY. Whether through volunteering, participating in a fund raising event, or making an online donation, your support is greatly appreciated. Everyday, your efforts make a difference to those who are the final recipient of your love and kindness here, both friends and strangers, alike.  PASS IT ON!
