Monitors are used at every stage of the production and postproduction workflow, from on-the-set to final distribution. Choosing the right monitor to meet your workflow requirements is important. Guest Speaker: Bill Admans

Bill Admans is a respected postproduction professional and technology marketing executive, with over twenty years of leadership experience in delivering creative strategies and innovative solutions to the global media and entertainment industry. He currently works as a consultant through his company, Pindari Associates, which is based in Los Angeles.

Until recently, Bill was Director of Production and Postproduction Solutions at Dolby Laboratories, where he was responsible for the market success of Dolby’s content creation tools, including the Dolby Professional Reference Monitor. Prior to joining Dolby, Bill was Director of Segment Marketing at Avid Technology, and Director of Creative Editorial at FotoKem in Burbank California. He has numerous movie and television credits for his work as an editor, colourist and visual effects artist.

Bill Admans was honored by the Academy of Television Arts and Sciences for his contributions to the 2012 Primetime Emmy® winning achievement in Engineering Development for the Dolby Professional Reference Monitor PRM-4200.

Bill studied film production in Australia before moving to the United States to begin a successful career in postproduction and technology.
