RI Raised Meat Marketing Workshop 

An event for any New England livestock farmer- beginning, experienced or prospective. Explore how best to market your beef, pork, lamb, goat or other meat animals. Topics will include: Selling the whole animal, pricing cuts, choosing a marketing channel and finding and communicating with your target market.  Our workshop will wrap up with a roundtable discussion of marketing techniques attendees use, or have questions about utilizing, in their own markets.  Featuring guest speaker Matt LeRoux (Agricultural Marketing Specialist, Cornell Cooperative Extension). Smart marketing is essential if you want to make a profit raising livestock in New England, and this workshop gives you a unique opportunity to learn those marketing strategies from an expert as well as fellow farmers.
