The Matrix and Healthy Eating 

 

One of the keys to healthy eating is mindful eating, and the matrix diagram is a great way to get started. Learn how to connect up eating with valued life directions. Learn how to use barriers to healthy eating to your advantage. Learn how to motivate others in a way that works.

During this webinar you will learn how to teach (and use) the ACT Matrix diagram as a way to healthy eating. You will learn:

  • How to set up the diagram so that it can be used many times per day.
  • How to connect up interneral values with external behaviors related to eating.
  • How to become more aware of internal barriers and literally use them to help with mindful eating.

This training is rather unique in that it combines the almost instantly useful Matrix diagram with the harder to get "mindfulness" process. By changing just a few small behaivors a day, one can achieve significantly more mindful eating.

Kevin Polk has been learning about and practicing meditation and mindfulness for over thirty years. However, he long ago recognized that the "M" words of mindfulness and meditation can be a turn off for me. Much of his work in designing the Matrix diagram was to give others an easier way to mindful living. When not doing stuff with The ACT Matrix, he is happily married and a father of three great children.
