Tour de Coop - Community Bike Ride
Welcome to the 1st Annual Laguna Beach Tour de Coop on Sunday, November 3, 2013. Chicken lovers and coop curious will bike coop-to-coop to learn all about keeping backyard chickens and their care during this community bike ride.
Pre-Event: Laguna Cyclery is offering 1/2 off for tune ups on bikes for the tour.
Check-In: 9-11 a.m.
Anneliese Schools' Willowbrook Campus at 20062 Laguna Canyon Road in Laguna Beach. Coop information, bike maps, guest speaker, water and light refreshments will be available.
Coop Scoop Lecture: 9:30 - 10:00 a.m.
Helia, the chicken caretaker at Anneliese Schools' Willowbrook Campus, will talk about the various breeds at the school and how she cares for them.
Late Check-In: 10:30-11:30 a.m.

Things to know
1- Laguna Cyclery is offering 1/2 off for tune ups on bikes for the tour
2 – Tour begins at Willowbrook at 9 a.m., or secondary starting point at 487 Shadow Lane from 10:30 a.m. - 11:30 a.m.. Coops close at 1 p.m.
3 – Ride will be approximately 20 miles (round-trip from Willowbrook), with some steep climbs.
4 - You may visit the coops at your leisure and in any order.
5- Water, helmets, and sunscreen recommended.
Laguna Beach Municipal Code for Poultry
Biking is encouraged, but you can drive your car instead. Parking will be limited (and be courteous to coopsters' neigbhors when parking).
