Burnout: Prevention and Recovery

This webinar will focus on how to use the psychological flexibility model to prevent or recover from professional burnout in any profession.

During this webinar you will learn how to:

  • Look at work from a more flexible point of view.
  • Increase your flexibility while increasing others flexibility.
  • Refocus you work toward values.
  • Plan the seeds of flexibility throughout each day.

This course is for anyone suffering from burnout. However, it can also be used by people working with other professionals suffering from burnout.

This course is based on the simple, yet powerful Matrix diagram for increasing psychological flexibility. The idea is to engage people in the process of increasing psychological flexibility in session, and then have them almost automatically practice increasing psychological flexibility as they go through life.

Steve Hayes, co-founder of ACT says, “The Matrix opens the door to ACT in a way that is direct, simple, and useful. Kevin is not just its developer: he a master in its use. He lays down a great foundation for a more psychologically flexible approach to life and work.”

Your presenter, Kevin Polk, Ph.D. is a clinical psychologist. He is a peer reviewed ACT trainer who is known as an explainer; translating difficult topics into easy-to-use language. He is happily married with three wondeful children.

Absolutely!  Totally my pleasure.  I have never seen a tool work so quickly or effectively and I have never had clients leave in such a happy state after a session.  Also, it's such a joy to use and to see transformations.  What a jewel.
