In the afternoon  we have the Open Paper sessions. We have had a fabulous response for the Open Papers , so if the Open Paper entries are up to scratch we will have 3 parallell sessions in the afternoon, so you will have a choice of 3 differant sessions to attend ! That evening we have organised an informal night at 'The Caves'  with Live music, a Fun Casino night and Ghost tours , regular tours around the High Street and Cowgate through out the night.

On Thursday morning  we start off with parallel sessions you can choose between Implantology & Bone grafting in Primary Care or Managing the Anxious patient. Next on Thursday is  the Keynote lecture  on Facial Aesthetics and will be given by the renowned Professor Bob Khanna  ' A full facial approach using botulinum and dermal fillers' .  After lunch we turn our attention to  Paediatric Oral Surgery and patient management, with lectures about patients with autism and ADHD, the unco-operative child , management of difficult cases and supporting and preparing consenting parents with special needs.  In the evening we have a black tie dinner at the Assembly Rooms in George Street and in response to feedback from previous conferences, we intend to have some music & dancing after dinner.

Friday morning will again start slightly later, and we will  have two sessions. The first session will be on the Medical management of Oral Surgery patients. The rheumalogical & immunological conditions affecting Oral Surgery and Haematological  assessment and management of the 'bleeding oral surgery patient'

We then finish off looking at communication and  team building skills with a lecture by Paul Bennett on 'Effecting Change' , with the intention that the conference will close about 2pm, so that everyone can travel home during the afternoon.
