Veterans are a unique subset of the labor market, and largely unfamiliar to civilian recruiting professionals. Lack of adequate knowledge and skill with Veteran & Wounded Warrior job candidates is a prime contributor to the high rate of unemployment. Training recruiting professionals to effectively source, screen, interview, assess and hire this valuable segment of the labor market is critical to the success of any Veteran hiring initiative.
The Certified Veteran Recruiter (CVR) Program is a new two-day training course for professional recruiters, designed to establish competency in all aspects of the recruiting lifecycle as they pertain to the military Veteran & Wounded Warrior job candidate. The CVR Professional Credential designates recruiters who complete the CVR course as having expertise in Veteran talent acquisition.
