....A Mandatory Course for all RNs working in the Developmental Disabilities (DD) Community Setting.
The RN taking this course must be working with a Developmental Disabilities Administration (DDA) licensed provider agency. You cannot take this courese for Assisted Living, Schools, DSS/DJS or any other arena where nursing delegation occurs.
Below are the locations and dates for the MBON mandated DDA RN Case Manager/Delegating Nurse/MTTP Trainer Course. RNs new to the DD community practice setting should enroll in this class as soon as possible after hire/within the first three months of employment.
Timeframes are 8:30am - 5:00 pm. each day. The 2014 schedule is as follows:

Your Maryland RN license must be current and active to attend training, and you must provide your license number when registering.
The 16-hour training course will be held bi-monthly in one of the DDA regions; you may attend the course in any region. The deadline for registration is one week before the first day of class. Each participant who successfully registers via this site will receive a confirmation. If you do not meet the prerequisites described above, you will be contacted. You must provide the name of the DDA agency for which you are working or with whom you have contracted when registering.
