2014 Summer Professional Development Program for Teachers of Swahili

Are you interested in expanding your knowledge about teaching Swahili language?

If so, consider applying to attend the STARTALK Summer Swahili Professional Development Program!

What: An intensive three-week program that will allow you to participate in professional development that will focus on quality instruction, curriculum and assessments for Swahili Language

 Who: This program is open to both prospective and new teachers of Swahili. 

Where: The program will take place at the Indiana University, Bloomington, IN.

When: The program dates are: July 7 - 25, 2014

          July 7-11 (One-Week Distance Learning Program –Non Residential)

          July 14-25 (Two-Week Residential Program in Bloomington)

Cost: Each participants selected for this program will receive:

• Reimbursement for NCOLCTL Online Course Fee ($150.00)
• Accomodation for the two-weeks residential program
• $450.00 (maximum) travel reimbursement for all out of state participants*
• A certificate of completion upon successfully completing the program
