We are excited to be hosting the 2014 Western Airports Conference in Tulsa, Oklahoma, our first air service conference in the Mid-Central U.S.!
Sixel Consulting Group will provide multiple opportunities for you to meet and network with top airline planners in an environment in which smaller airports are not only welcomed but valued.
All meetings will be held at the Hyatt Regency Tulsa, where a diversified blend of industry experts, airline planners and executives will provide air service information directly relevant to the small airports in attendance. In addition to group meetings, the major purpose of our conference is to provide scheduled time for one-on-one meetings between airport representatives and the airline planners who make decisions every day regarding the service levels in your community.
We encourage families to travel together and provide events in which we can all participate. Networking opportunities include several entertaining and casual events - occasions during which you will be able to interact with airline planners, colleagues within the airport industry, Sixel Consulting staff and management from Tulsa International Airport.
The first event begins Tuesday afternoon, April 22nd, at 1pm with a behind-the-scenes tour of the Tulsa International Airport. This is followed by a unique opportunity to tour AA's MRO facility, the largest commercial MRO in the world! At 6:30pm, we open the conference with a rooftop reception and dinner at the Mayo Hotel, overlooking the Arkansas River and downtown Tulsa's beautiful art deco skyline.
On Wednesday evening, experience a pole barn BBQ overlooking Oklahoma's stunning hill country at the Post Oak Lodge, less than 10 minutes drive from downtown Tulsa. Thursday, as time permits between one-on-one meetings, attendees are encouraged to discover the Brady Arts District, home to the Woody Guthrie Center, Philbrook Downtown, and Oklahoma Jazz Hall of Fame.
We strive to keep costs as low as possible at our conferences. This event is offered at $895 per person which, in addition to the conference agenda, includes all meeting room rentals, meals, off-site transportation and the audio/visual equipment needed for this event. As with all of our conferences, spouses/partners are welcome at our social events, receptions, and dinners as our guests. In addition, children are also welcomed at all dinner events. If you plan to include spouses/partners and/or your children, please register them under the guest category and indicate which events they will attend.
