Johns Hopkins Montgomery County Campus offers part-time, graduate education. Four JHU schools offer courses on the Montgomery County Campus: the Carey Business School; the Krieger School of Arts & Sciences; the School of Education; and the Whiting School of Engineering. The Center for Biotechnology Education offers a robust program and several degrees, including the popular master’s in biotechnology, master’s in bioinformatics and master’s in regulatory science.

The Osher Lifelong Learning Institute gives hundreds of senior citizens a chance to explore topics including literature, politics, history, science, music and art through non-degree programs.

Approximately 35 companies are located on the Johns Hopkins Montgomery County Campus. Companies focus on disease research, cell therapy, proteins, medical devices, gene research, mental health services, consulting services, pharmaceuticals and information technology.

The campus is located next to National Cancer Institute Shady Grove and is in the heart of the Shady Grove Life Sciences Corridor.
