  • Tour of the Levi Coffin House in Fairfield, IN
  • Tour of the Harriet Beecher Stowe House in Cincinnati, OH
  • Lecture on Chicago’s Underground Railroad heritage by Sherry Williams 
  • Lecture and discussion throughout w/ scholar guide, Dr. Howard Lindsay, DePaul University
  • Documentary film footage and stops at related historical sites en route
  • Access to mobile library of resources for all ages

Costs: 

$225 – adult registration

$195 – seniors ages 65+/students 13+ w/valid I.D.*

$145 - youth ages 6 – 12*

+$35 – late registration fee (after March 21)

+$50– single room supplement

All costs include $75 non-refundable deposit.  *Youth under 18 must be accompanied by an adult. 

Includes:

  • Ground travel to/from Chicago-Cincinnati via charter bus**
  • Lodging at Hampton Inn in Greensberg, Indiana (double occupancy)
  • Three meals
  • Museum entrance fees

**This tour begins on Friday, April 11 at 11:30 am the Bronzeville Historical Society with a short lecture about the Underground Railroad history in Chicago by Sherry Williams.  The Bronzeville Historical Society is located at Stephen Douglas Monument Park, 636 East 35th Street, Chicago, IL 60616.  The tour will end in the same location at approximately 8:00 pm on April 12.
