Tracking Self-as-Context

Remember to use the discount code ACTSAC by 11/17/13 for a 10% discount.

Come learn how to visually and numerically track Self-as-Context (SAC) across four webinars. The main reason SAC is difficult to comprehend is because it's much like describing balancing on a bicycle--words fail us. Come learn how you and your clients can get the "feel" of SAC, visually represent it, and literally track it with hard numbers.

The webinars will be held 11/26, 12/4, 12/11 and 12/18 2013 at 6:00pm (yes, 6pm) New York City time.

This training is for anyone wishing to gain more advanced knowledge of ACT and the Matrix. While the concepts of Self as Content, Self as Process and Self as Context can be difficult to learn, during this webinar series you will learn how the Matrix diagram makes learning them easy.

You will also learn how tracking SAC visually and with numbers is a powerful way of influencing others toward vital, valued living.

You will learn:

  • How to set up the Psychological Flexibility Point of View (Matrix diagram),
  • How to present the point of view to enhance the 'movement' from self as content, through process and on to context.
  • How to set up a tracking system that's easy for you and your clients to chart.
  • Experience how the tracking system enhances (even turbocharges) this work.
  • Learn how to track your own SAC from session to session.

Steve Hayes, co-founder of ACT says, “The Matrix opens the door to ACT in a way that is direct, simple, and useful. Kevin is not just its developer: he a master in its use. He lays down a great foundation for a more psychologically flexible approach to life and work.”

About your presenter: Kevin Polk is a clinical psychologist and primary creater of the matrix diagram. He is a simplifier and explainer. When not doing psychological flexibility work, he is happily married with three wonderful children. He plays at guitar (not well) and is handy around the house.
