About the Facilitator:
David Johnson, LEL, C.E.T., CFPS, BCIN, Senior Project Manager, Associate, RBA Engineering
With approximately 20 years of experience in building code consulting, David is a Senior Project Manager and an Associate at RBA Engineering. David holds a Limited Engineering License from Professional Engineers of Ontario in the category of Buildings: Life Safety for Life Safety Studies and Reporting Related to Part 3 of the Building Code. David is a certified Engineering Technologist and a Certified Fire Protection Specialist. David is a graduate of the Fire Protection Engineering Technology program at Seneca College and received both the CFSA Scholarship and the prestigious Governor General of Canada’s Bronze Cross Medallion recognizing the highest academic standing in any college across Ontario. David has been a guest lecturer for courses at the Ontario Association of Architects and the University of Toronto’s Faculty of Architecture.
Alek Antoniuk, B.E.S., B. Arch., OAA
Alek Antoniuk has over 34 years of experience in building code development and design and is a recognized expert in the development of construction codes in Canada. Although he is best known for coordinating and managing the technical development of the 2006 and the 2012 editions of the Ontario Building Code, he played a lead role in managing the code advisory services of the Ontario Ministry of Municipal Affairs and Housing since 1989. He was the principal of his own architectural design practice for 5 years and the Deputy Chief Building Official for the former Borough of East York (now City of Toronto). Alek Antoniuk is a member of the OAA and holds an Ontario BCIN for all OBC category of qualifications.

If you have not cancelled yourself from a seminar within 48 hours or less prior to the workshop and you didn’t show up you will be charged a full fee. | |||
If you need to cancel yourself from a seminar and it is 48 hours or less you will be able to send someone else from your organization. | |||
A full refund of the paid amount (less $50 + HST Administration Fee) will be issued for cancellations made up to 48 hours prior to the seminar. (Cancellations must be received by phone or email) | |||
Rescheduling, relocating, or cancelling events is at the discretion of buildABILITY. Should this happen: we will provide a notice 5 days prior to the seminar, you will not be charged. |
