December 2013 Members Only Free Luncheon
Dear TCIIA Member,
Our third Quarterly training luncheon meeting will be held on Thursday, December 19, 2013, at the Capital City Country Club from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
We'll have another great program that mixes traditional lectures with case studies. The agenda includes the following topics:
First part:
a. Transportation Infrastructure Affecting the State of Florida's Economy,
b. Public/Private Partnership,
c. Effective Contract and Vendor Management, and
d. Leadership Skills.
For the first part of the training, we are very honored to have the Secretary of Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT), Ananth Prasad, P.E.
Second Part:
a. FDOT OIG Overview,
b. Annual Risk Assessment,
c. Contract Audits and Other Projects.
The second part of the training will be headlined by FDOT Office of the Inspector General:
Robert E. Clift, Inspector General, CIG, CIGI; Kristofer B. Sullivan, Director of Audit, CIA, CISA, CIG; Susan O' Connell, Contract Audit Manager, CGAP, CPM; Richard Pearson, Contract Auditor, CGAP; and Frank Funderburk, Senior Auditor, CIGA.
In appreciation for your support and dedication to the TCIIA, the programs committee is glad to announce that our December 2013 training luncheon will be free to all TCIIA members. Please, come ready to have great training, food, fun and free-mixing. In the spirit of the holidays, we ask that you please, bring a toy to be donated to the ‘Toys for Tots’ charity event. Non-members are welcome but are required to pay $17.00
