Come 'ski with the pack' in the 3rd running of this XC ski marathon and half marathon!  The 42K course will be a single loop that will incorporate all of the best and most challenging trails at Minocqua Winter Park.  The 24K race will be much tamer and not include any of the "advanced" trails that the 42K race uses.

Title Sponsor

They are the only remaining Wisconsin company manufacturing their own paints and stains and selling them in their own stores – including their store in Minocqua. Please join us at Minocqua Winter Park as we host the Hallman Lindsay Paints Wolf Tracks Rendezvous!

Race Details

- The 42k race is a Birkie and Korte Freestyle and Classic QualifierSki our race and, with some skill, endurance and luck, move up a few start waves in the Birkie!

Freestyle and classic races with tracks set throughout the race and a seperate classic skier start prior to the skate waves going off

Wave starts based on performace or predicted performance to help with 'the flow'. There will be three or four 42K Classic skier waves and eight to ten 42K Freestyle waves.  The first four freestyle (first Classic) waves will be assigned based on last year's result or a predicted time based on a past performance.  The remaining waves will be self seeded.  Chip timing with a chip trigger at the start of the race allows us to do this

- Heated chalet building at the race start and finish with ample parking close to the chalet

- Chip timing will be provided by the professionals at iTiming

- Friday Evening (January 31) Packet pickup & late registration at Minocqua Winter Park. (The pasta feed and snow tubing session have been cancelled.)

- Awards ceremony at conclusion of race. Awards will be given in 10-year age categories

- Six Aid Stations will be on course and placed at 8.75K, 13K, 18K, 28K, 33K, and 39.5 K

- Change of technique requests can be submitted by emailing us at tim@minocquawinterpark.org before January 31st

- Swag The first 150 race registrants will receive a custom Wolf Tracks Rendezvous coffee mug!
