The Brennan House Presents:
An Evening with Downton Abbey

You are cordially invited to dress in your period finery and join us, at The Brennan House Historic Home, on January 5th at 8pm to watch your favorite British television show in a true period setting!  The Brennan House historic home, built in 1868, is the perfect setting to enjoy the new season; a local landmark to parallel the elegance and style of Downton Abbey itself.

The Italianate style mansion and its 16ft ceilings embody Old World, European charm. Once inside, marvel at the hand carved marble mantels, crystal chandeliers, and the library lined with richly bound volumes. Imagine the butler, Carson opening the door, inviting you inside the Brennan House to enjoy an evening of victorian convivality.
You will start your evening by touring the Brennan House and coming to know the remarkable history of the Brennan Family and their one of a kind, unique family collection including over 7,000 original period artifacts, such as an original Tiffany lamp. Come to know the Brennan family as you have the Crawley's of Downton Abbey.  After the tour and perusing our Silent Auction of exciting items, and once you have been properly transported to the turn of the century, you can nosh on some Downton Abbey inspired hor d'oeurves & Spirits enjoy at your leisure. Dress in your very best Victorian garb, perhaps mimicking the style of the elegant Countess Cora, or the dashingly handsome Lord Grantham, for our costume contest.  Be ready to vote, as we will have a prize for the best Downton Abbey costume after the show!
