Pressenting on "Fire Your Excuses- Personal and Corporate Change Management"

Dr. Marcus Dayhoff is currently CEO with REACH Employee Assistance, Inc., a nationwide EAP Firm providing employee assistance and work/life services, and is a Partner with Fire Your Excuses, LLC. Marcus has a doctorate degree in clinical psychology and is board certified as an Employee Assistance & Substance Abuse Professional. Marcus is a member of the Employee Assistance Professional Association and the Los Angeles Chapter. 

Course Abstract:

This course is designed to teach addiction and mental health professionals fundamental personal development and treatment principles based on Fire Your Excuses’ model of the eight life excuse areas where both healers and their clients struggle. At the end of this training, attendees will possess new tools they can use to facilitate their own growth and self-care. Additionally, they will learn innovative clinical strategies they can apply in their work with clients and patients, including the free Fire Your Excuses Self-Assessment which yields a 20-page personalized summary of the test-takers’ excuse profile.

Course Objectives:

1. Attendees will gain fresh insights for personal and professional growth.
2. Participants will also become familiar with new clinical tools and perspectives from Fire Your Excuses         3. Participants will learn how to assist clients in recovery wanting to take the next positive step.
