Buy a Bowl. Sip some soup. Help homeless families.

You are invited on Saturday, April 26, to Empty Bowls 2014, an exciting and fun-filled event in support of Family Promise of San Gabriel Valley.

At Empty Bowls, you will be able to purchase a beautifully handcrafted soup bowl made by local artisans and then enjoy a delicious soup donated by local restaurateurs.

All proceeds will go to Family Promise, a nonprofit 501c3 organization that brings local faith congregations together to shelter and feed homeless families, provide them social support, and help them find employment and housing. As a participant, you will be able to take your soup bowl home as a reminder that some people have an empty bowl not by choice, but by unfortunate circumstances.

Empty Bowls also feature local musicans performing and opportunities to win beautifully themed gift baskets and other items. Local artisans will offer pottery for sale at an artists village. 

Tickets are $30 prepaid until April 25, and $35 at the door.
