Sanitation Essentials For Produce

Food safety begins with the best training.

Both consumers and regulatory organizations have made food safety a high priority. If you are responsible for  food safety or sanitation in your plant, Sanitation Essentials for Produce is vital to your success.  Attendees will gain insight from experts who are in the trenches.  A fundamental combination of classroom and hands-on practice of wet cleaning methods (automated/manual/COP), environmental monitoring and corrective actions make this class a must attend.

Commercial Food Sanitation, led by Joe Stout, offers this course and Intralox Company will provide the venue.  Joe is known in the Industry for his work and knowledge in sanitation and food safety. Commercial Food Sanitation trainers are experienced sanitation and food safety leaders from the across the food industry.

This 2 1/2 -day course teaches sanitation essentials in the classroom and on the plant floor where all attendees learn by doing.  The course provides opportunities to practice cleaning methods unique to produce.  Attendees come away with practical and proven approaches to cleaning, sanitary design, allergen changeovers, test methods and more to assure food safety.

The value to participants and their colleagues at your plant:

  • An investment in sanitarians, supervisors and quality managers who will become your company’s leaders in the rally for food safety through excellent prerequisite programs.
  • Improved food safety at your company through an enhanced level of knowledge and an ability to engage based on a scientific approach.
  • Knowledge of the basics of sanitation on the plant floor and best approaches to cleaning and motivating employees.
  • Attendees will receive a certificate of completion after they complete full attendance and after they share the key information with their colleagues at their home location as verified by their supervisor.
