Volunteer Weekend at
Camp Rising Sun

Call up your friends and head over to Rhinebeck!  It's time to bring to life the slumbering camp sites at Camp Rising Sun!  We can't welcome the CRS 2014 campers unless we have filled tent hill and cleared away the cobwebs from the Old House, ED Hall, Main Building and the cabins.  So roll up your sleeves and pack a bag and join us for a weekend full of fun and camaraderie.  This is a great way to rekindle your CRS connection and give a meaningful gift to CRS 2014.

Our activities for the Volunteer Weekend:

Friday, May 16 (optional)
A relaxed evening for dinner, meeting the team and planning our weekend activities.

Saturday, May 17
Rise and shine early!  We'll get started right away putting up tents at CRS Clinton and Red Hook.  We'll also sweep out the buildings and clear away the cobwebs.  We may split into 2 teams, so please indicate in your registration if you have a preference for the camp where you wish to work.

Sunday, May 18
Finish up those last lingering projects.
Depart Camp around 1pm. 

Transportation:
You are responsible for your own transportation but we are offering a ride from the Rhinecliff train station.  If you would like a ride, you must let us know so we can have enough vehicles to meet you.

Fee for the weekend:
The requested contribution for meals and supplies is $50, but we have several generous donors who are sponsoring this event if you can't afford it.
