Forming Relationships that Create Change

Instructors: Yolanda Vaughn   |  Registration Deadline is Monday, April 28, 2014

Your neighborhood group not only needs to build relationships with its members, but also those that go beyond its membership. This class will explore how to begin and nurture key relationships with allies/coalition partners, opponents, the media (and social networking), elected officials, mentors, and friends and family.

This is the seventh of eight classes offered by the Neighborhoods Resource Center as part of its Leadership Training Academy for Neighborhood and Community Members.

We offer this affordable class on a sliding scale. The purpose of the sliding scale is to separate the issues of money and education. Everyone pays between $10 and $80, and you decide how much you can afford to pay (no proof of income required, no questions asked).

About The Leadership Training Academy

The goal of the Leadership Training Academy (LTA) is to develop grassroots leadership that will contribute to the strengthening of neighborhoods and the improvement of life for residents in Metropolitan Nashville / Davidson County.

The eight classes offered this year (August 2013-June 2014) are core leadership classes. Individuals who complete all eight of these classes within a two year period will receive a Certificate in Neighborhood and Community Leadership from the Neighborhoods Resource Center.
