Yule Celebration

Join the Temple of Witchcraft for a very special Yuletide celebration honoring the return of the light through a ritual celebration. Usually at Yule, all our lead ministers of the 12 Ministries take part in our celebration and the community has an opportunity to meet them. This year, we are focusing on future leaders within the Temple. While guided by teachers, the ritual will be “priested” by local talented students in the Temple's Mystery School, each embodying a spiritual force for the rite. Together, we will celebrate the Birth of the Child of Light from the Mother of Darkness! Journey with the Child through the stations of the year in the form of the twelve zodiac godforms – Father, Inspiration, Ecstatic, Warrior, Steward, Trickster, Mother, Artisan, Healer, Judge, Guardian and Teacher. Receive your own blessings from these twelve spirits

Come in your ritual finery, bring a potluck item to share in community, and celebrate the turning of the wheel with the Temple.

Open to all faiths and traditions interested in celebrating the mystery of the seasons in Perfect Love and Trust.

If you can, please bring a potluck item for sharing after the ritual.

Ritual Potluck

We have the opportunity to share the bounty of the harvest together as a community with our after-sabbat potluck feast! Please consider bringing an item to share, based on the first letter of your last name:

A-E: A grain item such as bread or crackers, possibly with an accompaniment like cheese or hummus, if you wish.
F-J: A side dish, perhaps a salad of vegetables or fruits (or both!). Try to keep salads vegetarian (no meat) or vegan (no animal products, including milk or cheese).
K-O: A main dish which could include a protein (either meat or vegetarian).
P-S: A sweet or savory dessert: cookies, cake, pie, fresh or dried fruit, chocolate (good for grounding!), etc.
T-Z: Beverages (non-alcoholic, please): tea, cider, fruit juice, lemonade, etc.

If you can, please label your food item so we know what it is. Our Mother Ministry will provide all the necessary eating utensils, cups, napkins, and so forth. If you have questions about what to bring, please email cancer@templeofwitchcraft.org.
