TCP Magazine 10th Anniversary
TCP Magazine will have a Reunion of those featured during the past 10 years in TCP Magazine with an Anniversary Gala on Friday, January 31, 2014 at North Raleigh Hilton Midtown. Gathering at 6:00 p.m. in the Lobby of the Grand Ballroom with Ballroom entrance at 7:00 p.m. If you have graced the pages of TCP Magazine whether by story or advertisement, we look forward to seeing you at that particular Issue's Table. Admission is $50.
On Saturday I will be "Coming Home" to New Providence Baptist Church, 4813 Hilltop Needmore Road, Fuquay-Varina, NC where I am a member with a Gospel Celebration. We have guest choirs representing various cities across the state. Back by popular demand will be Willie J. Mason and Friends from Winston-Salem and the award winning Salvation and Deliverance Church Choir from Tarboro. There will be a salute to Howard Slim Hunt by Michael and Lamanuel Boykin and Michael Boone. My vision is to see a flashback from the 80's (okay 70's) when I use to sing in the Youth Choir and traveled from church to church. I want to have at least one choir to relive the experience of marching into the church singing. Sorry young folks, you probably don't have a clue what I'm talking about.
One more thing... Lucinda Moore is coming to sing "Safe In His Arms" for me. I invite all of my friends who are Lead Singers and recording artists to come back her up. For the Band, all of you who have volunteered your time or always offered, here is your chance. Either call me or indicate in the comments below if you are interested in participating.
