Practical Audition Preparation with Tom Thon 

In this course you will learn to consistently be prepared for your audtions by mastering the basics. It will introduce you to the joys of acting from a practical point of view. It will define the basics of the actor's job and teach you how, with the desire, focus, and commitment, you can master a personal technique for acting in any situation. This is an 8 week course and will meet on Tuesdays from 7:30pm - 10:30pm.

Tom Thon

Tom Thon has had a rich and varied career as a professional actor. He played Doc. Kensington in 'Quarantine', worked with Jack Nicholoson in 'Prizi's Honor', worked with Meryl Streep in 'The Manchurian Candidate',  and worked with Robert Duvall and Bill Murray in 'Get Low'. In addtion to acting for film and television, Tom has had numerous stage roles including having multiple parts in Terence McNally's 'Some Men' at the Actor's Express.  He has worked at the Alliance Theater, Horizon Theater, and Theater in the Square.
