Supply List

A hardbound book (you’re willing to cut up and/or paint), preferably a sturdy book. Avoid books so old that the pages are brittle, and don’t pick a book with shiny pages (they don’t take paint well). Pick a book at least 1” thick. This will become your reference book.

  • Small cutting mat
  • X-Acto knife with sharp blade
  • Scissors, ruler, pencil
  • Glue stick (Uhu is a good brand)
  • A few acrylic paints
  • Decorative cardstock (printed), and plain cardstock(white or cream colored). I use decorative paper that’s printed on both sides
  • Materials for collage, such as photocopies of photographs, or  old magazines with images you’d like to use
  • A few brushes or sponges for glue and paints
  • Wax paper
  • Double stick tape
