For Girls Entering Grades K thru Post Grad

Green Mountain Development,in conjunction with the Vermont State Amatuer Hockey Association, is proud to announce its 4th annual development camp for girls entering grades K - Post Grad held at the University of Vermont.
Our camp is designed for players who have aspirations of taking thier game to the next level. We provide a superior coaching staff and an intense structured camp format that focusses on the necessary fundamental skills -- Skating, Passing, Shooting, & Puck Control as well as Offensive and Defensive team concepts.
Our on-ice instructors are current and former Olympic, NCAA D-I, D-III & High School coaches. They are supported by our staff counselors who are current and recently graduated FEMALE NCAA players. Special guest coaches MAY include those from the Women's Olympic and professional men's ranks.
Group 1 -- Girls Entering Grades K through 4, $175.00
Group 2 -- Girls Entering Grades 5 through 8, $650 Boarding / $450 Day
Group 3 -- Girls Entering Grades 9 through Post Grad, $650 Boarding / $450 Day
***Goalies will receive a 50% tuition reduction***
All girls must be entering grades K through PG in the 2014-2015 academic year

Group 1
-- 1.5 hours of On-Ice instruction per day ONLY, No Off-Ice Program, From approx. 4-5:30pm Mon. to Thurs. 3-4:30pm on Friday
-- 45 Minutes of individual skill stations
--Skating, Passing, Shooting, Puck Control/Protection
-- 45 min. of small area concept games
-- Approx. 6 to 1 player to coach ratio
-- Small groups of 6 to 8 players according to age & skill level
-- Goalies will receive specific goalie instruction
Group 2 & 3
-- 3 hours of On-Ice instruction per day
-- 2 Goalies, 6 Defensemen & 9 Forwards per team. Maximum 4 teams
-- Individual skill & team development focus: power skating, passing, shooting, puck control/protection, offensive & defensive zone systems, special teams play
-- 1 Power skating & Skills session, 1 team practice, 1 positional practice for Goalies (in AM), Defensemen and Forwards per day
-- Camp Tournament: Green Mountain Cup (evening games w/referee's)
-- Off-Ice program: NCAA & Prep School Recruiting Seminar, Strength & Conditioning, Individual Player & Team video sessions, Yoga, Nutrition Seminar, Mental/Sports Psychology Training, Leadership Academy, Learn to Referee Seminar, USA Hockey Student Coach Certification
-- Camp All-Star Team Opportunity (Group 3 ONLY) Details TBA
Shuttle Bus round-trip transportation service (supervised by GMD staff) is available to Borading Students from the following Vermont cities: Bennington, Manchester, Rutland and Middlebury for an additional roundtrip cost of $50.00

Before registering for Group 3, please consider our camp is recommended for the serious and motivated athlete and not the recreational player. GMD seeks players who want to improve their skill level, receive exposure to NCAA and Prep. school coaches and are commited to working together within a team dynamic
