Advancing the Next Generation of Stormwater Management

A committed partnership between the state, N.C. Coastal Federation, N.C. State University, development professionals, local governments and private engineering firms is engaged in developing new standards and tools to simplify the use of Low Impact Development as a voluntary and cost effective option for stormwater management. Please join us March 26-27, 2014 at the Raleigh Convention Center as we share these new tools and the great work of our partnership. 

This Summit Is Designed For

Local and state government stormwater managers, policy-makers and regulators; civil and environmental engineers; land use planners; landscape architects; consultants; academia; development professionals, environmentalists and interested citizens.

Registration Details

A discounted registration rate is being offered for summit participants through February 26, 2014. Registration fees for full summit include morning coffee, breaks and lunch for both days and March 26 reception. Daily registration includes offerings listed on the day’s agenda.

Cancellation and Refund Policy for Summit

A refund for the summit registration fee, less $50, will be issued for cancellation requests received by the North Carolina Coastal Federation by March 6, 2014. Cancellations after this date will not be eligible for a refund. If you register for the summit but cannot attend, you may send someone in your place.

The Summit will be held at the Raleigh Convention Center located at 500 S. Salisbury Street, Raleigh, NC 27601. Phone: (919) 996-8500.

A block of rooms is reserved at the following downtown hotels:

Clarion Hotel State Capital , for a rate of $99.00/night. 320 Hillsborough St. Raleigh, NC, 27603. (919) 832-0501. Block being held until March 4, 2014. R-Line bus route stop one block from hotel.

*Note the Clarion will transfer to a Holiday Inn after January 21, 2014.

Offering 11 PDHs approved by the N.C. Board of Examiners for Professional Engineers and Land Surveyors. Provider Number S-0514. Offering 10 CEUs for registered landscape architects approved by the N.C. Board of Landscape Architects. Self-reporting available for planners and architects.
