At this point (June 16, 2014) the tournament is full.  I may have a few limited spots for singles, or a twosome, if someone cancels.  Please email me at mike@pattisonappraisals.com if you are interested.  I will start a waiting list, and will get as many as possible in, based on cancellations.

Thanks!

In conjunction with the 60th Annual International Education Conference in Hartford, Connecticut, the Right of Way International Education Foundation (RWIEF) and the Canadian Right of Way Education Foundation (CRWEF) are hosting their 18th Annual Golf Tournament. The Constitution Classic will be held at Tower Ridge Country Club on June 24, 2014.  Tower Ridge Country Club is a daily fee golf facility located approximately 11 miles from the conference host hotel, in nearby Simsbury, Connecticut.

Tower Ridge Country Club has been a part of Simsbury’s landscape for over forty-five years.  The championship course was designed by world-renowned golf course architect Geoffrey Cornish.  The picturesque design of the course takes advantage of the magnificent setting at the base of Talcott Mountain, amidst the breathtaking Farmington River Valley.  Featuring 6,416 yards of golf from the longest tees for a par of 70, water comes into play on 5 of the 18 holes making a challenging course for beginners and professional golfers alike.  The course rating is 71.5 and it has a slope rating of 130.

The tournament is limited to 144 participants, and all proceeds are donated to the Education Foundations. Registration will begin at 10 a.m. with use of the range as well as chipping and putting contests before the 11:00 a.m. tee time. The fee to enter is $125 and includes green fees, golf cart, lunch on the course, beverages, and transportation to and from the conference host hotel.  Prizes will be given for closest to the pin on the par 3’s, long drive for both men and women, as well as the top 3 places.  A large raffle will also follow the event.  IMPORTANT – Rental clubs are extremely limited this year and will be available on a first-come, first-served basis.  We strongly encourage players to bring their own clubs if possible.

Sponsorship opportunities are also available for individuals, chapters or companies who wish to further support the goals of the Education Foundations. Sponsorships range from the Platinum level at $2500, to sponsoring individual holes for $300. All activities related to the tournament will be handled by the RWIEF, a 501-c-3 organization, which is a separate entity from IRWA.
