About the Speaker(s): Michael R. King, Lindsey A. Jackson and Michael C. Gillette

Michael R. King

Mike is a founding member of Gammage & Burnham. His practice emphasizes creditors’ rights and construction issues, and also includes consulting and supervising throughout the firm’s areas of business. These include emphasis on creditors’ rights -- bankruptcy cases, general litigation, loan documentation, work-outs, foreclosures and forcible detainers-- as well as deficiency collection and accounts collection. His client list includes banks, mortgage companies, distributors in various industries and leasing companies.

Mike also represents construction clients, including architects, engineers, contractors and material suppliers, in lien and bond claims and other litigation, as well as in contract negotiation and preparation. He advises clients on day-to-day business transactions, preparing and perfecting security interests, preparing sales and license agreements, distribution agreements, credit agreements, copyright and trademark applications, other intellectual property matters, employment agreements  and advice on labor and other issues.


Lindsey C. Jackson

Lindsey joined Gammage & Burnham in January 2012, practicing in estate planning, probate, federal tax and succession planning for small and medium size business owners.

 She received her J.D., magna cum laude, from Arizona State University, where she was a William H. Pedrick Scholar and CALI Award winner for Real Estate Tax Planning. During law school, Lindsey received the State Bar of Arizona Probate & Trust Section law student award and selected Student & Emerging Estate Planners Outreach & Membership Program member of the Central Arizona Estate Planning Council.

 Lindsey received her B.S. in Accounting from the University of Nebraska Honors Program, where she was captain of the Husker Cheerleading Squad and a member of the College of Business Administration Student Advisory Board.

 Lindsey is a devoted Nebraska Cornhuskers football fan, and enjoys playing golf and tennis, traveling, reading and spending time with her husband and dog, Lola.

Michael C. Gillette:

 Mike is a senior corporate associate, with a practice focused on emerging company formation and finance, corporate acquisitions and reorganizations, commercial and private lending, real estate finance and development and other commercial transactions.

Mike received his J.D. from Columbia University Law School, where he graduated with honors and served as a teaching assistant in corporate finance. Prior to joining Gammage & Burnham, Michael was corporate attorney at Cooley, where he focused on the representation of entrepreneurs, startups and emerging growth companies in connection with general and transaction-specific matters, including mergers and acquisitions and venture capital financing.
